I like scented candles that I can smell and that leave a room smelling of their scent even after the wick is extinguished. This product meets my criteria for a great scented candle. I don’t know that if I walked into a room in which this candle had been burning that I would say “Ahh! Blue Velvet Gin!” but smelling it and knowing what it’s supposed to smell like, I sort of get the gin scent. Regardless it’s unique and tangy without being too sharp.
